Looking for a good cable type of bike lock that wraps around the bike that I
can lock the bike to a post. I have a wheel lock but I want the cable kind.
Any local shops have them in stock that you know of? Doesn't matter if it's a combo
type or takes a key. I'm looking for a thick/heavy-duty kind (not like a bicycle chain lock).
Thanks!!

How you gonna lug that thing around?
Having a need to wrap a bike in chain tells me you should either drive to that location or get full coverage.

I'd rather ride my bike up there and back several times vs my car. Trying to cut costs on gas/time/mileage on my car since I'm trying to sell it.
I will also put a wheel lock on it and there's usually a security guard patrolling the area on a bicycle. I just want to be a little extra-cautious.
Cycle Gear is a bit far for me, since I'm on the southside. Anywhere in the ATL or southside area? Kinda needed to get one today. I plan on leaving the cable/lock where I'm parking it so I don't have to tote it around with me. Will only be parking in that one spot in ATL.

Cycle City in Newnan is the only thing I can think of on the Southside. There may have been a motorsports place on Tara Blvd, but I cant seem to remember the name.

Thanks, Slim. I'm going to skip riding my bike to ATL for the next few days I guess. I went ahead and found/ordered what I needed on Amazon, which was cheaper than ordering directly from the dealership. Cycle Nation in McDonough doesn't carry them - but could order me one for more than I paid for mine. I was hoping they'd have 'em in stock so I could get it today, but it's all good.

Cycle City's a good drive from my house too. The other place you referred to that used to be on Tara Blvd was Honda Motorsports... but they closed and moved to Industrial Blvd in McDonough now known as Cycle Nation - same owners though.

Wal-Mart carries Brinks brand locks and cables. They have a round vending machine type key with a thick (1/2"?) cable for about $20.
