Headed TGPR on 10/16 and was wondering if I could crash next to or with someone that's going. Have no idea what I'm doing as this will be my 1st track experience actually riding. I've gone to AMA events and spectated at a track day event but finally pulled the trigger to do it myself. Any takers? I'll have my own stuff so no need to worry about me mooching :gheydance: PM me!

come park it beside us. Flygirl, Chris, and myself will trailer over and pit together. I think she is driving and getting a room though.

I might pit beside Todd but I was WARNED through SEVERAL emails that it should depend on what he eats the night before.

Ya'll better be glad the track day isn't tonight. I had second helpings of my world class black bean and chicken with sauteed onions and Cajun "Fire Sauce" in a "Red Hot" enchilada soup with corn tortillas on the side.

Yo track veterans....I have seen some pretty extensive track day lists but being a beginner and not having a camper or enclosed trailer, is there anything missing from this list that a NEWBIE would REALLY need?(emphasis on NEWBIE because some riders in Novice should really be in intermediate)

Bike key, Tools for trailer, fire extinguisher, cooler w/drinks (H20/gatorade), lunch/snacks (especially bananas), folding table/chairs, EZ Up canopy w/weights, bike tool kit, zip ties, gas, bug spray/ointment/sunblock/first aid, change of clothes, toiletries, helmet, leathers, boots, gauntlets, socks, under armor, extra helmet, sleeping bag/tent, pit bull stands, fan(s), extension cord, helmet anti-fog, microfiber clothes, copy of insurance card & ICE info to give to track coordinator.

Thanks y'all!

yep, excellent list, one thing i would add to it is a first aid kit. Even if its a kit like mine that you make up yourself (since half the shit that comes in a ready made kit is useless). i have:

butterfly band aids
standard band-aids
large band-aids
ace bandage
small roll of cotton gauze
medical adhesive tape
neosporin
peroxide (small bottle)
scissors
eye drops
ibuprofen

That pretty much covers anything you might need. Anything beyond what you cant "fix" with this stuff, there is an ambulance on site during the day to get anything else.
