Shame that... hopefully this will get treated like the serious event that it is. I'm tired of reading how motorists skate when they kill a motorcyclist. If they'd driven over the top of a bicyclist there would be outrage... why is riding a motorcycle any different?

Because when people think of motorcyclists, they think of the squids doing wheelies down the interstate and harleydoucheidson riders and their "loud pipes save lives" mentality.

Yep, it is sad. You can have all the right gear and even brake lights, but it is too easy to say, " I didnt see him/her" and people just understand.

I hate it when they say "I didn't see you." They sure as heck see road kill, or a small block of wood in the road and go around it or stop, but don't see a big ass Motorcycle
with lights and a person on it. I call "Bullshit".
