Greetings!

I'm a recent proud owner of an '07 Bandit 1250S with a mere 5k miles on the clock.

Prior to that I had a '91 Nighthawk 750 that was my daily driver for 2 years and 20k miles. I was hit by a car on my way home from work about a month ago and the bike was totaled, but I walked.

I flew to Des Moines, IA last week to pick up the Bandit at a great price. My dad and step-mom rode their Goldwing from Florida to Des Moines just to meet me there and ride back with me. 1347 miles home, not bad for a maiden voyage! The torque and smoothness of the Bandit is fan-freaking-tastic. I absolutely love this bike.

I'm married with 4 kids and work in IT over in Alpharetta. I commute daily from Lilburn to Alpharetta, rain or shine.

Looking forward to meeting up for some rides soon!

Thanks, y'all.

That'd be great. I'm out of wife points at the moment but I should have some more after I send her and her girlfriends to Savannah Oct. 22.

I'm still riding rather tame while I slowly feel out what the Bandit can do. I did a Suches and Dragon's Tail trip this year on my Nighthawk. I'm not a total n00b but I'd say I'm still a novice.

Jonathan, thanks again for picking up my windshield from Roy in AL on your way home. It's nice to see that you decided to join here.

Welcome fellow Bandit rider!

oh yeah Jonathan - you have to get at least the $22.50 lifetime warranty HID low beam (55 Watt 6000 Lums). Tonight is the first night I rode with them and they WORK! Now I'm gonna install my High beam some time this weekend.

Will do. Put some Vstrom knuckle guards on her this weekend and have some Oxford heated grips and a Tourmaster heated jacket liner on order too. Old Man Winter be damned!
