I'm going to ride, wouldn't mind meeting you, but with the leave lookers, corn mazes, and pumpkin patch folks I would suggest an earlier start.

I forgot about the leafers, maybe we should take another route. I'm open to an earlier time also.

No matter how many bears I wrestle, motorcycles I eat, or women I impregnate with my mustache, I can't seem to grow any chest hair.

Riding in fall mountain traffic causes chest hair growth.

You guys oughtta start riding some new routes. Less traffic. More fun / safe this time of year. I got some great places over in the NW hills of GA. Think west side of I-75. You would be surprised & pleased and it's just more fun when the traffic is a lot lower.

I'm in Adairsville and new to Ga. I've ridden a few roads around here but I would love to ride with someone who knows their way around. So yes I would be up for a ride this morning.

Hey Man! I'm just barely up the road from you in Calhoun! 8 miles north!

Speedracer & Ttruckinon there's some excellent rides in the John's Mtn wilderness area west of us a few miles. Then we can go up 136 to backside of Lookout Mtn past Cloudland Canyon, or I have a secret route that runs a gorgeous canyon route, then climbs a super fun road up to the upper rim. From there you can circle back via Summerville & hwy 140 right back to Adairsville.

Main thing is we won't be fighting for space on the road with tons of tourists & leaf lookers. We will still have to watch out for leaves on the road, but we can handle that.

I can't break away until about 2 PM today. But we can do the ride in 4 hours, puts us back at 6 PM. Takes some I-75 riding for anyone from Atlanta, but it's not different from jumping on GA 400 really. Adairsville Hwy 140 exit BP station west side of interchange is only about 40 miles northwest of Marietta / Atlanta.

That would be exit 306 and I'll meet you there about 2:30?

This turned into a great ride today! Perfect weather. NO traffic! NO heavy LEO activity. Some rewarding roads with amazing scenery. Ttruckinon & I had a superb ride. Rest of you guys gonna have to begin to consider coming to NW GA on occasion, not just the same routes up the middle - north GA.

Yeah Drew we missed having you along too. It's amazing how much higher quality the ride becomes (even if we weren't into as many twisties) when you eliminate the horrible traffic + heavy LEO presence. We rode mile after mile with no one to have to try to pass, no one in sight, nothing but us and the great roads & scenery. And there's other roads out there where we were that are begging to be explored.

Yes indeed! We had a GREAT time and though not as intense as the mountain rides the scenery was fantastic with NO traffic to contend with it was a lot of fun. Ken showed me just a few of the roads in this area and I know there are many more that I will add to my "must do" list.

Ken and I swapped bikes for a while on the way home. First time for me on a 600 and it was a shock how light and nimble it is. Thanks Ken for letting me see what I've been missing.

Darrel, we had a good ride for sure! Like we were saying, we need to just start exploring with our GPS's and maps. I have a feeling we are missing some of the best roads around, and there just isn't the traffic issue we all hate up in the more popular portions of the mtns.

And thanks for the idea to swap out bikes a bit. Your GIXXER 750 is a MONSTER of a bike! I was really shocked because to me it out paced the liter bikes I've ridden in the past. I know it's a track bike & professionally prepared. That really shows. Just WOW!

Looking forward to more times & hopefully we can get our buddies on GSB to come our way once in awhile. I've got about 3 more rides like yesterday's that I've mapped out. Let's go exploring & find more!
