Ok i havent fired either iv only held both. To me having most of the weight placed right against you made the AUG feel more stable, i also like the bull pup design.
With that said AR15s are all over the place and parts are easu to find and mags would be cheaper.
I tend to like more odd ball stuff so i think that may be why the AUG speaks to me.
But im looking for some help, anybody fired the two of them and what do yall think of them , or have another option that may be better suited

I Havent fired the aug but I would go for an AR. The big question is what are you going to use it for. If your going to use it for the range only go with what peaks your intrest. If your going to use the weapon in a defensive role and or classes go with an a AR but get a quality ar. AR platform is the most adaptable platform with all kind of accessories lights lasers optics parts. Also dont get sucked into All ars are the same there not there is a big diferance between a Daniel Defense and a bushmaster. You can go to http://www.m4carbine.net/ there is a ton of info about selecting the right AR good people. I own a Daniel Defense M4 v2 very light weight all around best AR ive ever owned. Hope this helps some.

ar15 rounds are too small, cant even use them on deer in most states, unless you bump up to a 6.8 SPC, which is a good idea if you want it for all around use including deer hunting

.223 and 5.56 are legal on deer here. I know plenty of people who take wild boar with .223.
As for the choice, what is this going to be used for, plinking, self defense, competition, etc?

I do not know if georgia banned it for deer, many states have, it's not really humane, you really need to hand load a round that will expand, I'm not sure if there's any on the market for this right now

It all depends on the actual bullet. There are several really good arounds out there that get the expansion needed, then there are some real crappy ones.

What? How am I supposed to kill a deer without my 30rd magazine? :p

find a place that will rent one or a friend that will let you fire one at the range. i fired both but didn't like the 5.56 so i decided on a ps90. there are other bullpups: fs2000, kel-tec rfb, tar-21 (if you can find one in the states), msar clone. i didn't like all the front weight on the ar15 (magpul MOE would be nice). you really need to try them out and decide for yourself. save up and buy what you really want and not what you can afford at the moment (you will end up selling/trading it).

Yeah, I was looking at getting the MSAR 16 E4. I already have several AR's. Runs about the same price as a decent AR or piston AR and runs AR mags and ammo. That was a plus for me as I can still use the same mag pouches and stuff I already have. The PS90 is a fun weapon too. A friend has one and I shot it at the range. Fun to shoot but ammo is more scarce and expensive. Harder to find pouches and such for it...

I got a RockRiver Arms AR15 and use it for practicing in the range. the thing is lots of fun and accessories for it are not that expensive.
i guess it all depends what you want out of them....plinking, hunting, self defense, or other

Since ammo is the same, the choice comes down to the exotic or the familiar, bullpup or not to bullpup.
I wish Bushmaster still made the M17s, an AR15 derived bullpup. very nice weapon

I too have multiple AR's. Each one has it's own characteristics and as previously said, the Daniel Defense with the Omega rail is by far my most favorite. Thin, light, fast handling and very well balanced. Point to consider with the AUG is if you break it, where and how long will it take to find parts? You can not modify/accessorize an AUG like you can with an AR. Just my two cents.
