Found on ebay and went up to ten. last weekend to get it. New leftover 09 450 xcf, got most the goodies on it and now its time to ride. Group of us going to d'town this coming weekend, couple rzr s and sport quads. Wave if your there.

just stay in front of those dust machines! or your new ride will be very dirty

That little button on the right bar makes it much more enjoyable to ride than my old crf450r.

if it hasnt already been done to it, a JD Jetting kit makes all the difference. throw in a fuel screw while you are at it. other than that the bike is "ready to race" (well maybe ride hard) out of the box. good choice. i have a 2010 450 SXF and its awesome:up:

You should consider a dirt tricks timing chain tensioner as well:up:

Extras that are nice to have if it doesnt have it also include:

Clutch Slave Guard
Map Switch (really works more apparently once jd kit is installed)
Skid Plate

Loctite your shifter bolt, your clutch slave bolts and your shock bolts if you dont want to buy more. then enjoy!

This past week I have installed the DJH timing chain tensioner kit, ricochet skid plate, slavens racing map switch, unabiker rad. gaurds, hour meter, ktm hard anodized oil pump cover, shimmed the oil pump bypass spring and verified the spring length, and whatever else I forgot. Thanks for the tips.

an adjustable leak jet is nice to have too:up:

its amazing how much more fun these bikes are when they are jetted correctly. the cool thing is for the most part once they're right, they're right unless you go ride at 12k ft. mine is good from hot to cold and in between about a 3k ft elevation range. all is needed is fuel screw adjustments. it runs like a raped ape.

I also had to put header wrap on the header, got tired of it roasting my leg
