I just rode my Bandit 1250 for the first time at night after installing a HID light to replace the low beam. Easy installation, lifetime warranty, and only $22.50 now!

AND - in the four day time runs I've made to school not one person has cut me off. Now night has been turned into day!

I got the 55 Watt 6000 Lums here:

This is high up on my project list. Not sure I want to do the high beams though so I can retain the flashing capability. Used my flashers tonight to get a cager to turn on their lights... and I didn't get shot at!

After seeing what the low beam projects I am installing the high beam and see. I too was worried about losing the flash capabilities but after the last four days not so much anymore.

I install quite a few HID kits. $22 is a great price for a single unit. There are hundreds of different HID ballasts and although they all look the same they are definitely not the same. I have also installed them in high and low beams without any issues with the flash to pass buttons.

On one of my Bandit forums a guy has been running one of these for 2 years and about 40,000 miles commuting and sight seeing daily.

I'll try to get pictures but there isn't a before so you'll have to trust me saying they sucked before :)
