au's athletic dept. is saying pretty strongly that they knew about this last summer and conducted investigations, due diligence, etc. it sounds like a
bunch of nothing, but who really knows.

Interesting story but I think it ends well for the barners IMO. If nothing else Cam is off to the NFL and this will be major infraction # 8 for Auburn LOL Roll Tide Baby!

This hearsay/rumor alligation material was presented to the SEC/NCAA nearly a year ago. It apparently wasn't a priority for them then. As far as I can tell there are no facts involved in this story to show any wrongdoing. Only some douchebag ESPN analyst, Mark Schlabach, who thinks he broke some huge story. Cam didn't play for Miss St so whatever he said she said crap allegedly went on there amounts to a hill of beans. At this point Newton is 100% eligible to play football at Auburn and that is all that matters.
I just hate it that some fools are already talking about not giving him the vote for Heisman over this bs. It just makes Auburn and Cam look bad even if neither party did anything wrong. Auburn is soon to wrap up an amazing season. This is nothing more than someone trying to make them look bad because they are doing well. Like I said, this is old news to the organizations.
Dan Mullen and Urban Cryer are probably both pissed off because they don't have Cam on their team so they are trying to tarnish his name now. Auburn is going to take out all their frustration on the Turds Nov. 26th.
