Looking for a good gas mileage car. Prefer Honda Civic or a Miata or older BMW, but honestly the gas mileage is most important.

Driving 120 miles a day is costing too much in my van and I need something better.

MUST BE 5 SPD please!

I've been looking around and have found a few things but as always, I just wanted to post here as well and see if I could help out a fellow GSBer before buying something from a stranger.
;)

I feel your pain. I have 2 drive 150 miles a day 4 days a week to school. I used to have a 4cyl accord 5 spd that was pretty good gas wise but now I have a g35 and its hurtin

I understand. Have a Legend now and will either keep and modify or sell for 92-95 Civic coupe. 5spd of course. Had one and sold. Love Honda's too.

My first car was an older Civic LX ... had several Civic Si's and sold them all. Wish I hadn't :(

Yeah. Found out it has no motor in it. Owner is looking for one and *might* sell when he does. ARGH.

Oh wow. No motor is good. Owner must know it's a hot commodity without an engine. Everyone loves those Civic shells. It wouldn't happen to be a 5th gen hatch would it?

Nope, 4th gen, 91. Black. Si. Of course it's a hatch!

So did you end up getting anything? I may be in the market for something else also. Economy really biting and might have to sell the wife's truck and getting something without a note. Honda product of course, lol.
