Well, Trying to plan a vacation/Honeymoon in first week of June. Don't want to do the typical Hawaii or beach resort thing. Wanna try something new, something adventurous and relaxing at the same time.
I was looking at Grand Canyon 4 days rafting tours but those are friggin expensive but very nice!
Looking for cheaper alternative(under $3000 including everything for 2 people).
So far I am researching Mayan Riviera, Puerto Rico, Grand Canyon tours and other Caribbean islands.
I need more ideas, suggestions especially if you have already been there and done it.

If you don't have a Waverunner you can rent them like my friends did. I have a 2009 SHO Cruiser which makes 100 daily trips easy with the cruise control. Watch this video... its a 50 mile run to Bimini from Miami and then you can take the ski from island to island. We are doing this again this year... its one helluva adventure!!

Why not just go to a local Tea Party and scream that you love Obama and everyone who hates him is racist...? Forget Detroit! Try that and see what happens!

Thinking about it, on the flip side, there's always going to Freaknik wearing a Klan uniform. That would be an adventure unto itself.
Sorry, Nedar, I'll stop now.
Have you looked at South America, like the Mayan temples or something along that line? Or something on the Amazon?

The wife and I went to Cabo and went Marlin fishing and bumming around mexico for a week on our honeymoon. You could throw in 4-wheeling if you like. We also went to Puerto Rico for Tarpon fishing, dancing and general hanging around. Can you tell we like to fish.

If you are still looking at rafting ideas you should check out the New River in WV.

Not really appropiate for honeymoon but I've always wanted to go to Alaska for a couple weeks but the remote part. Get flown in and left for like 2 weeks with just fishing gear and guns with 2-3 of my buddies.

The possibilities are endless - ride donkeys down the Grand Canyon (better get reservations now), go scuba diving in Cozumel/Grand Cayman/or Turks and Caicos, rent a motorcycle and ride all around Arizona or Utah and go hiking in either Sedona or Canyonland, if in the summer go mountain biking in the park at Whistler BC (awesome) - also visit Vancouver while there, rent a boat and drive it around the keys while fishing/snorkeling/diving, go to Yellowstone or Yosemite, go to Moab and ride ATV's/hike/etc, go to Costa Rica and go rafting/jungling/etc.
