Yeah, I couldn't stay away too long and I missed not having 2-wheels to roll on. Being stuck in a F350 cage is worse than most normal versions of caging it.

I also have taken on the responsibility of working for HSR, the group that puts on "The Mitty" at Road Atlanta and many other track events in the Southeast. We are hosting bike events along with some of the Historic Sportscar Racing schedules. So if you have any interest in being on track at Road Atlanta, Hutchinson Island... yes, the track by the Westin Resort in Savannah... not Roebling Road. And another event at Sebring, just let me know.

Better have a mouth piece at Sebring. Track will bust your teeth out of your head. and Welcome.

That is why we will be using the Indycar section which bypasses the bumps and valleys out of turn 1 and the bridge at 17.

Historic Sportscar Racing mixed motorcycles last year at Savannah's Hutchinson Island racetrack with great success! So... I was hired last week to merge the historical motorcycle racing enthusiasts with the car stuff. I also am webmaster to the new website that will be launched soon and of the HSR Facebook page, http:/www.facebook.com/HSRace .

If anyone is interested in these events for 2010... Sign up your membership with this link: http://www.historicmotogranprix.com/members-hmpg.html

The membership is a one time $100.00 and the event fee is $150.00. You only pay the membership once. We have two events at Road Atlanta, actually three if you count the lapping sessions during the AMA event. Yes... we are going to be there in the middle of that too!!

Hutchinson Island is also on the calendar twice! We are working on the Sebring dates too. I am looking for Bike Clubs, local shops who are interested in vendor spots and I am working with Hooters for a bikini Bikini Wash on Saturday. If you visit our Facebook Page, click the events tab and the track descriptions are there as well. RSVP the events and you will receive all the updated info. I will be there shooting Professional pics of all the riders. All GSB members will receive Digital Downloads for FREE! If you visit my website and see my work... I will take the Pepsi Challenge with any Photog you've ever had shoot a pic of you.

Here is the Savannah link from last year with Jamie James and crew. Jamie will be there as will Dennis Gage from My Classic Car and several others I cannot confirm at this time.

What could be more fun that ripping a wheelie while someone with only one ball tries to put just yards away?

Just a few samples of my work... I honestly got into this because I was fed up with never getting decent shots when I would be on my bike. Only Vicki has gotten a great shot of me... all the others sucked.

No offense but I wouldn't put bikes on Hutchinson or Sebring. Even for track day stuff. Maybe controlled speed exhibition laps.

These events are not "Racing Events" and anyone trying to stuff the next guy into a corner will be dealt with. These are "Gentleman Events" where I would hope riders keep their levels at 7/10ths and just have fun.

I have turned many laps at Sebring in cars and would be hard pressed to turn laps at speed there on a bike.

My sentiments exactly... thus the reason to use the shorter Indycar test track which is the newer sections. I will be taking a bike out there for a test fairly soon with a few other riders to see if indeed the shorter course will be without issue.

As for Hutchinson... its a nice track with many new improvments this year. New berms were constructed and the trees beyond the paddock area were just cleared. I will be traveling to Savannah in the next couple weeks for a test there as well.

Great pics man! Wish i wasnt forced into a minimum wage job or I'd be the first to sign up regardless of how shady the track may be. I feel
the road is far more dangerous even without cars sharing the other lane. Like you said, having a track day doesnt necessarily mean a mini MOTOGP
needs to be taking place. Sounds like your doing good work man
