Does anyone know any definite dates for Elite Sportbike track days? I know there were a couple of control riders on here and thought maybe someone would know. Their website only has tracks with dates TBD.
I waited to long to sign up for the STT Tally dates of the 27th and 28th.....just trying to see what else I can come up with.

Ummm, have you even bothered to check with Elite to see how they were going to handle the situation or did you decide to just bash them in this thread? If you have already done your due dilegience in following up what you are owed, then that comment is not aimed at you. I'm just saying that they should be given the chance to right a wrong before they get bashed in public.

Ummm, several unanswered emails and phone calls counts as due diligence in my book, after a while, one just "charges it to the game." as far as the bashing comment, stating a fact is a long way from bashing.

Like I said, if you have done your due diligence then that comment was not meant for you....

I've been PM'd on other boards by some of their own CR's if I knew what the deal was with Elite?

The people owed money/credits should not have to hunt down Elites ownership and/or management or conduct any due dllegience. Elite should have contacted everyone owed money and credits and advised them of what Elite intend to do as a resolution (whatever that might be)

I was signed up for one of the track days that cancelled last year. My credit card was not automatically refunded, but after an e-mail to Robert, I got a quick response and full refund.

Stating an opinion that customers should not have to chase refunds is trashing? Sorry have to disagree and I guess you may call me unbecoming.

Here is how I and STT tried to help.

I sent Robert two emails earlier this season asking what his plans were. My reason was two-fold. One was that I always try to schedule so STT events do not conflict with other events in the region and this has been my policiy for ten years....but that if Elite was not going to be continuing to host event (we all know that 2009 was a rough year) that STT would offer to help Elites customers who are owed credits (and Robert) by offering the following.

STT offered to chip in 50% of the credits if Elite would agree to send us 50% of what was owed to the customer(s). Example... Elite owed customer XYZ a credit for a date at Tally. STT's price is $105, we would accept $52.50 from Elite and write off the balance to so the customer got what the were owed.

My reasoning for this was that A) It would help the customers and B) It would possibly bring some customers back to STT that had never ridden with us or bring some back who had left and lastly it was something that I thought would help the track day community. Yes some may have just taken us up on the deal and never come back but that's the chance we take.

I never recieved a reply to either email so I figured they we not interested and that is ok.

Hi Everyone,

Elite Sportbike dates are still TBD due to financial constraints. As the situation changes, dates will be posted and everyone will be contacted.

In response to the few customers that are owed either credit or a refund, each was contacted last year. The situation was explained that they would receive refunds or credit, but we were was not sure when that would occur. If a rider feels that this is not adequate, please contact me via PM or email through the board and we will work something out.

Monte,

I do not know which address you used, you don't mention in your post. Did you send 'emails' to this board? Or were they PMs? Did you send it via the Elite website? Did you send it to a personal email? I have not received any emails or PMs from you or anyone claiming to be you this year (2010) or even the last 6 months.

Please send copies of the emails you purportedly sent me or Elite Sportbike to Todd Clark on this board. I ask Todd to forward them to me.

If you still fail to contact me via email or via Todd on this board, post under this thread a way I can call you. Phone calls are a direct method of communication.

Robert - I just read this.

I used the contact form on your website both times. I do not have your personal email address.

My email address is Monte@sportbiketracktime.com that is the best way to reach me.

Robert - Bonnie broke her leg Thursday (open tibia and closed fibia) and had surgery Friday. I am totally swamped between taking care of her and STT/STS/STG now that the season is in full swing. Just email me your thoughts, request, etc... and I'll reply in 48 hours or less.
