Not everyones cup of tea but I respect other's tastes and enjoy building it:

300 kit with jack shaft, Trac swingarm, Performance Machine Hooligan wheels... other stuff later.
EVERYTHING powder coated semi-gloss black.
It's gonna have a carbon fiber tank / bodywork and a few gold pinstripes (like around the wheel lips) that will match the anodizing on the forks.

Sweet project. I have only had a few inquiries for the 240 and 300 kits. The cost is just ridiculous in the end. I like the matte frame and accessories and the wheels are sick. Should look pretty mean with the carbon bodywork on it.

Update as of this weekend:
Not a whole lot of progress because of getting racebikes ready for Tally but: engine hung (I'm fighting myself for not painting it black but I know you won't see any of it later... but I'll know), custom Brocks with black Jet Hott, more powder coated parts, newer calipers (old ones were so corroded and anodized I just upgraded them), Shadow braided kevlar brake lines, had to get the swingarm adjuster blocks machined a bit and the rear hanger bracket modified...

Carbon bodywork and tank on order now. New plan! To match the gold pinstrip on the wheels we're gonna get the "S" and the Hayabusa logo done in real goldleaf! On bare carbon! Bit of oldschool on modern....

Saw that when I was in there on Saturday. I was curious about it.

Is this your bike or someone else's?

So, how is that "Hoodie" with a dongle on it still working out for ya?
Building from scratch looks like a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind doing stuff like that
to learn. :D

Ha, good to know. I'm sure after I have the bike paid off it's won't be very difficult to convince me to start pouring money into the damn thing!

This one is just a looker. I built this same customer a turbo Busa that's pushing out 370 horse (so far!). It's all powder coated kind of a gun metal color. He's going to let me take that one to Maxton so I can get my 200 mph hat.

Big wheels like this actually don't make good drag bikes. They don't make sticky 300s. They're really all for show. He just wanted something he could tool around on.
