I know this is a Long shot...
But I Know a lot of people might know someone that knows something etc...
I am looking for a 1942 XS Harley Davidson Preferable with Side car.
Must be almost all original as possible.
If you know any information or can lead me in some kind of direction i would greatly appreciate it.. thanks

PM A&A Motorsports. I think I heard of him being able to search around for bikes.
Also check with Old Dude Cycles in Lilburn. He specializes in the vintage Harley stuff

I think you are looking for a Harley XA, they never made an XS. The XA is the only shaft drive Harley ever made; this was a 29ci (750CC) horizontality opposed flat twin that was built for the military to be used in the desert in the North African champagne. Only 1000 of these units where built and none for civilian use, Barber has one on display in the museum. Other models for 1942, WLA, EL, UL, VL, and servi-car.

you are correct... The one I'm looking for is a military version. Not sure if it was xs or xa.

That is one rare piece. You maybe luckier calling the "american pickers' from the discovery channel.
Ive seen some URALs with the sidecars but no Harleys

Ha ha I sometimes like to watch American Pickers... I know its a long shot, But I can tell you theirs a finder fee of course and I know just alone this piece is gonna cost some bucks.
but with that being said I'm still looking....:)
