View Full Version : Couldn't resist going for a short ride today

So I need a new front tire on the Kat6 and waiting on my matching rear Conti Road Attack to come in to mount. Having missed several good days to ride recently, I drove up to Mountain Motorsports to check out their M/B prices and ended up trying on a set of Joe Rocket leathers and also several jackets. I left Mountain and came home and decided to go for a quick ride. The front tire is old in condition so I took it slow and rode an hour around the house. I just couldn't resist goign for a short ride today. Woot Woot

i had enough time to wash mine, ride it to the end of the driveway, and put it in the garage today haha

it needs to get into the upper 60s soon and stay there!

We were slammed today. Must have had 10 walk ins from 11-3pm. The weather is just right to get out there and ride.

I agree.
I really wasn't planning on riding today. It rained enough over here in Covington, but after I spent about an 30-45 min at Mountain Motorsports just trying on gear, I just had to ride.
That's funny because OTC, I iwll be a walk in soon to have the tires mounted. Matter of fact, let me check UPS to see where they were.

i left this morning to south carolina in my car had a football game got back tonight around 8pm and was like its not raining time to ride now im sitting at tacomac and waiting for the lady to get off work then ride home yee haw.

Well next weekend looks good...mid 60s for the weekend...Im pretty sure I will be out....My bike needs to taste some road...Its hungry :lol:

I got out saturday too. It was nice, but there was some light scattered rain later in the day.
There were a bunch of riders out and savannah was slammed with out of towners getting ready for the big St Pats throwdown.

I was just down there on Valentine's day with the wife to check out Paula Dean's restaurant. I couldn't help but think what a cool ride it would be with some of the fellas to head to Savannah for a day. Nice city.
