That is a 3 hour drive for me up to Blue Ridge, great area to ride, I am turning a little green with envy. Just a bit to far for me just for one day ride.

Word. Same here, I'm just outside of Atlanta the only roads I know are north Georgia but I don't have time for an all day trip up there.

Grab a map head up 441 N to Franklin NC take 28 west, and just pick some roads, you can't go wrong.

Any other day I'd show ppl around, not tomorrow(today). May run up to Helen, but not the roads I was on earlier.

Traffic wasn't the issue. It was the road conditions. Whatever you guys do, try to keep inside the lines about 2ft or so. Anything wider and you're prob sliding. Be really careful too if you're braking hard, deep into your turn. I'm on a sportbike btw.

Btw, a lower route to Helen is 60/19 to 129, then right. If you take that left, it would take you to Blood Mt(Neals Gap) and beyond.

Your going the wrong way. lol Florida is flat and no curves, on the other hand it is warmer..

So right now 00_Green is gonna meet me about 15 minutes from me. Then we are gonna head to I-20 in Carrollton to meet Ramm. And I-20 at 27 would be good for me since I'll be taking 27 to Carrollton. When I know what time we will be at I-20 I'll post it up.

cheaha was a nice run after you get past the shitty pavement part of the road saw one rider down but no bike in site he was moving so hopefully the thing hurt most was his pride.

Yea it was definitely fun. A few slow cars and Harleys. The crappy pavement always pisses me off. It needs to be resurfaced. I would have rode more aggressively, but I didn't know how far you guys wanted to push it.

I always say that and then I am fine...well except the time i killed two birds...not with one stone...one with my face shield and one with my tire...ew. I was not ok that day...rode pretty slow....and then on the best part of the road....man down...always happens with the west coast guys on our version of twisties in fL....they can't hang lol

I hate we missed this. My laptop has been down, and I didn't get online for several days. Brother and I rode up to Macon yesterday. A 1 hr ride by cage on I75 turned into a 2hr ride up 41. But it was great weather and we saw tons of other bikes....most were cruisers.
