I like my 2004 R1, but lately I have been wondering If I would like a 2007 better.

Anything available?

Those are very similar bikes. If you are looking to trade up I would consider the 09+.

+1 from your year to 08 the r1 is the same....from 09 and up....totally different beast

Actually 04-06 are the same. There are some differences in the 07-08 (even though the aesthetics are very, very similar)

I have a friend who is selling his 2009, but a bike that new just costs more than I am willing to spend.
