Has anyone ever tried to tackle this? I consider myself a skilled automobile mechanic, but at the same time I am not a bike technician! I just bought a 20mm kit w/ springs. I've done springs on a SV650 a while ago, but never the valves, etc. Just wanted to ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have and there's a thread on here about my opinion and servicing of cartridge forks... I'll see if I can find it.

Here tis:

JUst for that job you'll need (or have to make) atleast a fork spring compressor, a cartridge tube holder and maybe a fork seal driver.

Thanks, Huey. I appreciate it very much!

I have the kits, would it still be $222.00 + tax & shop supplies + any unknown crap that usually happens when working on anything mechanical?
I guessing you are at MarMo?

You got it. We're doing the same deal Ohlins is. We'd probably like to replace the seals while we're there.

I own MarMo. Well most everyone else "owns" MarMo but I'm the one that signs all the checks to them. Hahahaha

Excellent! Thanks again. I'll see you within the next week or so.
