I have a decent leak in one of my touring boots (A* Web GoreTex), along the seam where the rubber sole meets the leather. I've had these boots for a couple years and have done about 35k miles on them. I can ride through a mild rain for a short period of time, but anything more than that and my foot gets wet.
Curious if there is anything recommended to try and "seal" that joint or any other tricks to find and fix leaks on riding boots?

I emailed WL Gore (Makers of GoreTex) and the boot can be tested for failure. Sounds like as long as there is no extreme wear on the boot it might be covered by GoreTex... we'll see. Someone on ADV-Rider commented that they covered the price of a new set of boots when he sent his in, maybe I'll have similar luck. His were also out of the A* warranty period.
Otherwise I'll try A* and see what they recommend.
