Im not a person who cares for the latest and greatest, as I still use a Motorola Razr on a daily basis. However, for free I can get the new 4g HTC Inspire or for $50, I can get a Iphone 3gs. I know they are on two seperate systems, both the wife and kid have Iphones, but the wifes older Iphone 3g has been acting up and honestly, I cant figure out Itunes.
Which one would you get if you had the opportunity and knowing you would keep it for atleast 2-4yrs

Are you blowing your upgrade? If so, dont get the iphone 3gs. Its outdated. I'd go with thie Inspire if you cant figure out itunes. Just drag and drop to the Android phone. Im sure others will have their opinion (*cough* Troy *cough* Dave) but you have to get whats best for you. Just my $.02

Just got the HTC Inspire, pretty cool and it was freeeee. Im not to tech savy, but from playing with the wife and kids Iphones, it takes some getting use to. I like the "basic" apps that it comes with, however, most of the reviews on the "free" apps shows multiple complaints about signing up or creating an account in able to use the funtion. One app wanted me to allow it access to my phone account and be able to "make changes in order to operate properly". We'll see, thanks for all the advice ;)

Most apps require things like that, the difference is that Android apps tell you what things they need access to before you install them, that's all.
