Bogey's is opening a new location (other one is Towne Lake, Woodstock) by taking over Highlands and they're making big changes and are excited about us re-starting our sportbike-night! They're redoing the kitchen, bar, adding a 10' screen, and moving their awesome menu down to the "new" location. I've been going to the old location for over 10 years when we used to have a WERA trivia team there on Thursday nights!

Since the season is just starting I thought it would be best for us to start the right way with training that we all should know but hope to never use: first aid / buddy care. This presentation will be taught by Marietta Fire Department EMT / first responders who also ride! The class concept is "what can I do or shouldn't do until help arrives" for someone involved in a motorcycle crash. With some of us being way up in the mountains far from the closest ambulance this will really be invaluable information during the initial and most important time immediately after the accident.

The rep for Leatt will also be there to discuss their new STREET / TRACK version of their famous and very successful neck brace. You've seen the motocross riders being protected by these for years, now they've developed a version that works over leathers (even with humps) and still allows us full range of motion while tucked over!

This year we'll still have bike nights on Tuesdays but we'll only have something "scheduled" for one Tuesday a month. Usually the last Tuesday of the month. So ride out and meet the new owners, reintroduce yourselves to everyone, have a great meal, and get yourself some knowledge that one day may help save a life.

Bogies on George Busbee Pkwy (off Barett Pkwy) in Kennesaw
Meet there at 7:00 or shop at 6:00
Tuesday March 22.

K folks. We're still on for tommorow!
We'll have weekly meeting but I'll only schedule big things once a month. Already have next month lined up!
17 April: Daytona 200 winner Jason DiSalvo! He's starting a new school with Brian Stokes at Talladega. They're both going to stop in, tell us all about it and maybe we'll be able to pry some behind the scenes infor out about that red-flag motor swap!

Seriously how do we get this lucky?!!!!

The Lt. from Cobb Fire who is instructing us tonight called a friend to see if the friend had any pointers for the class. The friend got excited about what were doing and asked if he could come along: He's the instructor for the Cobb Police motorcycle unit!

This is going to be a "should not miss" event!!! Please RSVP on the Facebook page or post up so we can get a good number to give Bogey's.

It went to someones house for a party and was slow coming back. It was actually one of the first things I brought up to the new owners.
I was promised it would be returned.

I was told though that from what they know of who's house it was at and the parties there: he was having fun. :-)

So glad I came out to bike night! The Cobb County EMS seminar was great! I'll be putting together a small first aid kit this weekend. I can't wait until the next bike night. Thanks for serving the biker community Huey!
