Remembering TWO

Even though it was raining and crummy yesterday, Sarah and I decided to go ahead and pay one last visit to TWO before they close their doors for good.

We took one of the Beetle's up to the Mountains and enjoyed lunch at Riders Hill, then drove over to TWO to grab some final pictures. Sarah asked GT if she could have all the Road Runner magazines and he said sure. We ended up with about the last 3 years of magazines.

That's a great post. The pictures and weather are very much in sync with the mood.

It made me remember our first visit to T.W.O. in 1993. We were so excited to make the trek. We rode all the way up from Ft.Lauderdale in one day. No easy feat for my wife who rode her Honda NSR 250 SP almost non-stop the whole way. With our camping gear on the back of my 900RR we spent several glorious days "out back" all by ourselves.

As has been said by others, it is truly the end to an era. T.W.O will be missed by many.

I was trying to remember if there were any tshirts up there that I knew of. Forgot about maybe having one up there for Hoov.

They had most of the t-shirts down and sitting on the pool table, but I didn't really look through them. There were still quite a few on the ceiling when I was there though.

It's sad to say bye to TWO. And those pictures just makes me want to cry! I'm going to miss that place this summer. :(

Dang it man. The burgers in reality may have not of been that great, but its seems everytime we stopped and ate, it was the best food I had in a while. Guess it was all the fumes and bench racing.

Sad to see this =( Only been up to TWO once unfortunately... on my very first trek up to Blood Mountain back in May '09. :bigsadeyes:
