I got this e-mail today and would like to pass it on for those who are interested in going. We went last year and got to take our bikes out on ATL motor speed way, that was fun!!! I know it says Hawgs but there were several sport bikes that rode that day.

Hey guys,

Many of you have been wondering about this year’s Hawg Heaven Charity Ride. Well, it’s back! The 4th annual Hawg Heaven Charity Ride will be Saturday, May 7th, 2011. The ride benefits Shining Light Ministries, which is a women’s rehabilitation ministry based in Henry County. Shining Light (like every other non-profit) needs our support. This year’s ride is a little different from years past. We will be starting at the Chick-fil-A on Hwy 20/81 in McDonough, Ga. (this is the racetrack gas station & Jcpenny exit). We will be visiting the the SKY SOLIDERS DEMOSTRATION TEAM’s headquarters at Tara Field. Here riders will have the opportunity to view Vietnam era aircraft and ride in a Huey or Cobra Helicopter. Riders will enjoy an 8-15 minute ride (depending on which aircraft) flight that will thrill them till landing. Unfortunately helicopters don’t fly for free. Different registration prices apply to the varying activities that you might want to do. Traditional ride registration is $25, a Huey ride registration will be $65, and the Cobra ride registration will be $450. Registration includes lunch, T-shirt and the helicopter ride depending on what you choose. All registration will be day of the event. If you don’t care to fly, there will be static displays of other aircraft to look at and take pictures with, while others take flight. Feel free to email or call me for any questions. Please invite as many friends as you would like. Those individuals that don’t ride can meet us at Tara Field. Thanks so much for your support in years past, we are looking forward to seeing you at the 2011 Hawg Heaven Charity Ride.
