I used this bag precisely one time - on a trip to Deal's Gap. While I really liked it, I've decided that I prefer tail bags over tank bags (if you hang off regularly and ride aggressively - especially with clip ons, you may want to consider a tail bag). However, if you are in the market for a tank bag, this is the best one to get, IMHO. It bolts right on to the gas tank and WILL NOT LEAVE A SCRATCH.
Some key features:
1) 10 Liter, Pocket Rocket tank bag
2) Features an injected molded 2.0 mm polycarbonate lid to provide clear transparency to maps or other items stored in the Marsee tray.
3) The tray is awesome, can hold a mobile device, GPS (note: not an enormous GPS like a Zumo), keys, wallet, map, etc. Even better, you can access what's in the lidded tray without unzipping the bag - it's a simple latch.
4) The tray has two egress ports from the bottom of the tray plus two exit ports at the front of the tray. Under the tray is a storage department that will keep several valuables dry and secure. You could easily fit lunch, rain suit, and a few other odds and ends.
5) This bag features the corona mount, which is great - a piece actually attaches to the gas cap, and the bag itself simply twists off (no straps, no magnets, nothing annoying). It is a $70 add on to the base price of the unit.
6) You can also purchase an add on electrical accessory kit to drive power to the devices you put in the bag (see website included below to purchase this $80 accessory)
7) The bag itself is rigid, so it won't flop around or get distorted by the elements. It features a handle for easy transporting off the bike.
You can read more about the bag here (obviously, I've lifted some of the copy): http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/product/Marsee10LPocketRocket/MarseeTankBags
New, I paid $220, which is $30 more than the retail price , which is $120 for the bag, and another $70 for the corona mounting system. I'll let it go for [b]$120.
