Racebike Renewed

So many of you that have seen my racebike know that it has seen better days lately... The body work was held on by zip ties completely and the tank badly dented. Even the newer tank was dented. So with the help of Lorne at OTC, I made my baby look new again!!! I changed out subframe, plastics, tank, plastic tray, etc. Here are some pics of the teardown and then the bike at the track after everything was mounted. Note: trailer also got repainted inside... UGA Red!!! Gotta say it looks awesome!!! I'll post a pic of the rock that huffdaddy found under my valve cover next....size of a pinky finger!!! Now I just need the "Rogers Racing" logo created for the fairing to complete it.

At the track. Giving some love to OTC, Dunlop, Pit Bull, etc. Oh and the decals Kruzel made for my name on the windshield and seat were AWESOME!

Thanks Marc. Copper elbow is still in there though. Gotta remember to change that out. Passed race tech twice now though and for 3 trackdays. :)

Huffdaddy and I are both at a loss for how it could happen. When you see the size of the rock, it will be even more puzzling...

How'd your rc51 turn out finally? Get the bearing/engine straight?

I need a design. Don't have a pic yet cause I'm not sure what it should look like... Ideas?

Yes...yes it was... Next time I might have to close the door on ya... :) Great racing though. I'll give credit to those wide 200 ntecs for keeping my butt off the tarmac and you and patti for forcing me to run harder just to keep up!

Looks good, so when are the new barends coming in? I like the green and silver. It makes the bike look like a real fast booger.
