This weekend I plan on hitting Cheaha. My mom is getting married next Monday. I have some things that I have to do before the wedding. So I have no idea what day or time I will be getting out. But I'm hoping I'll be 100% free on Sunday.

Sat night was crazy with the hail tho
I parked the truck outside and the alarm
Was going crazy. Had to get a tarp and blankets on the hood
To shut the glass breakage deal up.

yea Otc installed them and noticed some other thing's wrong. Chain and Gearing is needing to be replaced asap so parts on order there. Tires I do like tho and Otc did a great job with that. They have my business tho.
before and yes I did skid on these bad tires during our ride I knew something was up.

Jerk I ordered the gear's and the chain today been delayed trying to find the options I like to go with.

I like them but only did like 10 miles on them so far. rain has placed a damper on a lot of things right now. Tommorrow if it's nice ill do a short ride to red top and test them out on the road's there. The Angles are a pretty neat tread pattern and Hopefully they work for me in the long haul.

Don't look for the mileage you got from the other tires with these. Be careful and get that protective coating off the tires before you start to test them out first.
My bro got a set from OTC a while back for his VFR. He mostly goes straight, but can hang with the average rider on the turns. Has about 4000 miles on them already but looks barely ridden on. Looks like a superb set.

so shall I just ride my bike this weekend and plan to ride it to cumming? I ordered the wrong chain by the way but im going to pick a rivet link one up at cycle gear tho. I have the chain's with the master clip's soo cheap and Not on my bike.

The chain is RK right? If so, yes...get a rivet link($4.99?) @ CG. You can ride in or tow anytime before Sat afternoon. Shouldn't take more than 30 min to swap out everything u have.

No im just going to go. The last times I've been up the roads have been real good. Except rr it still has gravel its getting better but it seem to be the worst at the top of the mtn. I haven't been thru wolf pen so I don't know about it but im not a big fan of that road so maybe someone else will give a report

We are having a ride from the shop to the bike show at The Lodge at Copperhead in Blairsville at 12 this Saturday, then hitting up some twisties afterwords. Probably ride Blood, Wolf Pen, etc. Anyone who would like to join is more than welcome to!

It's literally 300 yard past Murphy Medical Center on the right, just past the gym.

It really never rained that hard up here. RR was still not great but not terrible last weekend. I've ridden Blood, Unicoi, The Dragon, etc and they are all nice right now. I've heard Wolf Pen is clear as well.
May stop in and check out the Copperhead show on Sat if my ride is yawn. Then Sunday, I may ride Cheaha.

So we're going to meet later than I said. Im meeting one guy at the qt in Oakwood at 10 then we're heading up to the chevron at the end of 400. If no one posts up that they want to meet there we'll just head on up the blood. Probably be at hikers station around 11 to 11:30. Then just run the mtn and maybe ride up to the copperhead car show? If anyone is interested still up in the air about that.
Also as I said before everyone is welcome we always wait at a turn to make sure everyone is together and I never mind waiting!! I'll have a semi-newbie with me so the pace will be very managable!! So if you've never benn to the mtns join us!!

So, I dont know who all went out today. I probably won't be going up to the mountains, but I would like to ride today some time around 1 or later. Also, tomorrow I think a group of us is getting together at exit 11 off 400 and then planning our ride from there. PM me or Hunter1671 for details about sundays ride or if you want to ride today.

In the same boat new tires as well. I don't know about tomorrow ride on my end the wind has put a damper on my plans. Went riding with Kyle from kennesaw today with his new yamaha r6 and we both complained about the wind blowing us around.

I feeeel like the wind may not be as much of an issue tomorrow seeing as it's going to be warmer. Those two variables connect in my head somehow. Warm weather=not as much wind, but anyways i'm still down to ride. I went out today with an extra pair of gloves on for the first time in a week which was great. I could actually feel the controls. Hunter was thinking about doing a ride up highway 9 to dahlonega. I am pretty much down for whatever. I am pretty new to my bike so i'm not going to be that fast.

Wind was a little crazy at spots but overall good day up there. No gravel on the loop, not sure on the other roads.
I may be out there again tomorrow, depends on if I want to skip all the yard work I need to do.

Great ride today!! Yes the wind was unreal but still a great day!! Ended up riding with a group from my work. We had a blast!! Only saw 1 leo and he was helping a guy that had gone into the ditch. He was ok he was walking around and talking on his phone! Looked like a duc.
Blake it was good meeting you to and thanks again for re-answering my questions about your tyger shark crash cage!! Hopefully we can get together and ride sometime!!

That's cuss I have a 600cc not a 1000 like your pasted bikes. Trust me If I was racing I would beet you on water been into boat's a wile tho and it's fun. You and Jenn will love the new boat tho.

I don't think anybody has much planned right now riding wise. If the conditions improve I'll very likely go riding with my cousin tommorrow tho .

Right now playing it by ear with the folk's I ride with including my cousin. I know Drew (speedracer) is out for riding tommorrow because I talked with him this morning via phone about this ride. Hopefully the wind sunday is very minimal vs today just didn't like riding conditions at the present moment.

Rode with my boys today. Wind was there...but not anywhere close to a show stopper. Temps were awesome! Sunday should be even better.

Looks like someone had an expensive lesson on car control up there. I never got to see the wrecker drag that Porsche back up the mtn but I couldn't imagine it was a pretty sight!
The Porsche flag that they put at the side of the road where he went off was priceless tho :lol:
