Hello folks,

I could use some help in finding a good leather glove repair person if any of you know one please let me know. I bought a brand new pair of race gloves(won't mention make just yet) just about 2 weeks ago and the third(ring)finger on the right hand glove lost its thread. The thread came unraveled and left a hole in the seam. This is just after one ride mind you. I was up on hwy 9 in Dahlonega today and found it after some 2 hours into the ride. Now me finger is exposed and not what I consider a safe situation. So if someone knows a good leather glove repair individual let me know. Thanks

If you don't want to put the name out here you are welcome to msg me and I will let you know their warranty and you probably can just get a new pair. Gloves are a hard one to get repaired usually cause you don't have much to work with if you can get the things flipped inside out.

The good news is the manufacturer agreed to take them back for an exchange or possible upgrade. I sent them in yesterday. So there will be a follow up for good or bad and then the unknown maker will be revealed. Thanks for all of your help.

Just received an email today, this issue still remains unresolved. The dealer(manufacturer) is telling me he won't be available till Tuesday of this week to resolve the issue. Well so far I am out 200$ plus cost of reshipping back. Hopefully by week's end this will turn out all right. I give the maker until week end to resolve it or I will put out my personal thoughts on it.

Wow. Be a LITTLE patient. It is highly likely that they will give you a new pair of gloves. As for shipping cost, that is the hidden cost of doing business with on line retailers. If you bought your stuff from a local shop, you'd probably already have a new pair with no shipping cost involved.
