Went to Verizon and picked up and iPad 1. Surprisingly, I used it a lot more than I thought I would. Its easy to pick up and just get on the web. And the flash issue isnt that big of a deal. Only when the whole site is written in Flash. And why would you do that anyway? I'm also digging the ebook reader. We'll see how that goes when I read longer than 15 mins. Figured Id pick one up after a year and a half iOS hiatus. Anyway, any apps I need to have? Let me know guru's.

Tapatalk, or if anyone knows any better. I love being able to upload to here from my phone rather than waiting to boot a computer.

Well. I got a good deal on it and I wanted it to mess around on. I figured I could sell it for what I paid if I didnt like it. But its growing on me. Right now I've been using it in meetings to take notes here at work. Pretty snazzy.

Ok, for reading - get the kindle and nook apps (that way you can buy from any of the 3 stores.)

Also, seriously, Goodreader is worth the $$$ - basically gives you a file system you can store stuff on, password protect directories, save web pages, annotate PDFs, etc.

If you're a netflix user - the Netflix app

I believe they're supposed to have a live MotoGP timing and scoring app (of course, without being able to watch the races live, I don't see what good that'd do you...)

Anyhow, it really just depends on what you want to do with the iPad. There's all sorts of great apps!
