My Woodcraft sliders and spools came in the mail Saturday, so I sacrificed some riding time yesterday to install everything. Putting the frame sliders on was MUCH easier than I was anticipating! I didn't even have to remove the fairings :D The spools were... well, I'll just say they were easy. Even that is a huge understatement! I tightened the main bolts on the slider bases to 41 ft-lbs and the bolts on the rear spools to 80 in-lbs. Little bit of blue LocTite on everything during final tightening also. Here are some pics to give an idea of what the Woodcrafts look like (not sure you can see the spools all that well, but a spool is a spool. I'm trying to show the sliders! haha):

Looks like your blinkers could make good sliders.

 it's the normal Yamaha joke. They are the only company that continue to stick those god awful things on their bikes. Everyone else has stopped.

Hahaha! Don't worry Chris, the Proton flush-mounts are in the near future. The whale tail of a tag holder that's on there is soon to go too :D The very next mod is probably going to be a Puig or Zero Gravity Double-Bubble windscreen though. The stock windscreen gives practically NO wind deflection at all!

I did some volunteer work at Kennesaw Mtn on Saturday, then got home to find my sliders/spools in the mailbox. I was about to run after you to get your attention at Freedom but I didn't want to look like a jacka$$ haha! I'm wishing I had tried out the Daytona 675, but I heard one guy complaining that the line for it was ridiculous so I didn't bother.

Everybody that sees my sliders wants to know what kind they are. Those solid pucks sure make people scratch their heads if they have never seen woodcraft sliders before.
Looks good! Hopefully you never need them.

My 09 1krr has them integrated into the mirrors, with no additional dumbo ears.

Yep, the new ones they don't do it anymore.
2010 Yammies still throw those bitches on there. Like I said, the only company to still do it. The 600's I think put little blinkers on there. But no where near the size of the Yammies.
