View Full Version : New pic of the latest mods to the Speed Triple

I finally got my integrated turn signals installed and all of the fender crap removed from the triple. It really changed the look, it cleaned up pretty nice! I also installed a set of Tech Spec Gripster tank pads, they turned out better than I expected. Here's a pic before they were installed, and another pic as it looked on the way back from bike week in Daytona with the mods.

Man that looks great. Hopefully will be able to get mine running again at some point. Sure doesn't feel like it lately, but there's hope. You've got a great looking Triple. Take care of it.

looks good but I wish they would quit cutting the length off the tail!

Thats the sickest looking part! I have been looking for a tail to put on mine so I could have it look like that but still be able to carry a passenger like you can on those. It would look bad ass with some skinny pipes on the back or have them turn down right where they go in the mufflers now.

yea I agree. i just think the tail is too short now. The older models was even with the rear tire and looked better

I always felt that way with the Lightnings that seemed so popular before Buell went down but it grows on me more and more everytime I see them.
Clean bike man! Who did u go with on the tail? Clear Alternatives by any chance?
