Suzuki GSXR 1000 K6
Stock Calipers
The pad pins in the front calipers (OEM Tokito) were secured with RTV on the threads and heads (before I got the bike). I have already stripped the hex head on one of the pad pins. These pins are not moving.
Any idea how to remove the pins?:pullhair:

if it is rtv... like gasket maker silicone kinda stuff then spray it with some brake cleaner or starting fluid(eather) this should make it flex and pop loose. now if its the brake pad clip glue stuff then best of luck

Thanks for the tips.
It is RTV (at least that is what was on the outside of the pins) and I have sprayed starter fluid and and brake cleaner in it but no luck in getting the threads to loosen up. I pulled both front calipers off the bike and I'm taking it to Marmo to see if they have a trick.
Thanks for the tips.

Job complete. Took both calibers to Huey at MarMo and he used the application of brute force, fire, and solvents. When that didn't work, a little drilling did. I am back in business.
Thanks Huey.
