A friend on mine that works for Coweta Co. fire Department for the past 7 years was diagnosed with cancer a couple of months ago. Because of his medical condition he has not been able to work in either of his jobs. He is the sole provider for his wife and 2 kids. CCFD stepped up and helped out a lot with food and donations for the family.

There will be a fundraiser ride for him on May 28th, 2011 leaving out of the Great South Harley Davidson Dealership in Newnan. The cost of the ride for those that are preregistered is $25 for a rider and $10 for passenger. If you are not preregistered the cost is $30 for a rider and $10 for a passenger. Riders that are preregistered get lunch and a T-shirt.

Kick Stands up at 1100am and it will be about an hour and half ride. There will be several stops at a couple of the county fire stations.

There will also be a silent auction held.

Special guest will be Corbett Jackson who wrote "Heart of a Champion" with all profits going to the landreau family. For those of you that listen Kicks 101.5 you have probably heard this song.

Thanks for any help or support that you can give.

Picture in the parking lot after the ride today. First number that I heard was 158 bikes and that the ride stretched for over 4 miles!!! Great job today by CCFD, NFD, NPD and CCSO doing escort duty, never had to slow or stop.
