I just got the Nexus S from Sprint and love it! I have been on Verizon for more than a decade, so it was a big decision to switch. But when I got my bill for over a hundred dollars this week I decided to jump ship.
I had the original Droid from a year and a half ago, so I was used to the pure Android experience, which is what I have with the Nexus. The screen is beautiful and it is about half the weight of my Droid. I was worried about the Sprint coverage, but so far so good. My son likes it, because now he can use his iTouch (online) in the car since my new phone has the mobile hotspot.
Does anyone else have this? Experiencing any issues? I didnt like not having a notification light, so I downloaded an app called NoLED which lights up a pixel when I have new mail, text, or call.

I have an android phone and has the first nexus when I used to work at t-mobilr and they have some pretty sweet phones. Usually they get the first updates because samsung/google have a good set up. Learn your phone and you might want to upgrade your memory card (idk if that one comes with a 2-or 4gb card)

I haven't seen many Nexus S phones around. I own the carrier-branded cousin, the Samsung Vibrant.
Mine is rooted and running a 3rd Party ROM (Bionix), so I have a Gingerbread launcher instead of Touchwiz.
The phone is alright. My major complaint is battery life.... but I have four spare batteries, so running out of power when I am away from a charger isn't much of an issue anymore.
I was looking forward to upgrading to the Galaxy S II, but it looks like T-mobile won't be getting that phone (unless AT&T gobbles them up).
I am still not sure what I will do if the T-mobile merger is approved. Sprint has horrible coverage at my home and at work, so my choices will be either staying with AT&T or going to Verizon

If it goes through, I will be livid. I heard that alot of customers are trying to petition it. Ill tell you this the key will be the iphone, if the new one comes out 4g compatible then t mobile is done.......(which looks loke it will and they will also get it)

Yeah, AT&T-mo should really really not happen. If it does AT&T becomes the sole GSM provider (they charge other smaller prepaid phone providers to use their GSM network) and we get the fun "big telecom" fiasco all over again.
Also, it would set a precedent that would then allow Verizon to reach out and snatch up Sprint. Bad precedent is BAD.
