I am looking to purchase a leather suit. The one I have in mind is the Joe Rocket Suzuki replica one piece leather suit. Here are the specs on the suit:

-1.3 to 1.6mm natural uncorrected leather
-C.E. rated protectors in shoulders, knees and elbows
-Removable spine pad with pocket for optional C.E. spine protector
-Free-air perforated ventilation system
-Full Flex windproof stretch panels on sleeves, legs, and crotch
-Molded shoulder vents
-Beveled knee sliders with ceramic compound

My concern is with the flex panels noted in the red font. How will they hold up in a crash? Looking for input in the quality and safety of the suit. Thanks in advance for your input.

If you hit the "stretch panels" your body would be so distorted you'd have bigger things to worry about other than road rash.

Edit: That's if they are located like my A*'s are.

I have a Joe Rocket GPX leather two piece suit that is blue, black and white that is for sale on CL. If you are interested we can meet up and I can show it to you. My pic taking capability is not working right now. It is a size US 46 and used about 3 times. I don't ride that much anymore and when I do I use me Kobe X pro.
