Track walk for tornado victims. $20 donation for a stroll with the guys that get paid to ride. They had some good insights. I think they learned some things too. I heard several comments like, "I didn't realize this hill was so steep!" :)

Great bunch of guys. Always ready to sign an autograph or wait while I fumbled with the camera. Very professional for 20 year olds :) I was impressed.

lol! very nice! kind of an inside joke though... i've crashed in turn 5 twice! more towards the exit though... about even with the point of the second apex if you look at it as a double apex turn, but out from the curbing about 3 to 5 feet. there is a nasty little seam or a change in camber or something. the second time i crashed there and broke my collarbone i tried to walk back over to the edge of the track and see where i had gone down, but was promptly seized by the corner worker and sat on the wall! ;)

They are cool guys! I think MOST (not all) of them are really humble and down to earth.

Tam and Chas were working the event. I saw Tam crossing the track in front of us, snapping pics. I called her name twice, then resorted to sign language :D
