Alright, everything is on the bike and bolted together. Suprisingly, besides a little bit of "modifying" some holes, everything fit together easily. The factory stuff is actually easier to remove/replace due to different mounting techniques, but everything fits together pretty much the same. Panel alignment & spacing of kit is not too bad aside from a few exceptions. If it had not been for the messed up graphics no real changes would have been necessary. I was able to move the mounting points on the wing to bring the graphics back to a look I can live with.

I think it looks pretty cool! Really changes the look of the bike and makes it definitely look ready for the track. Someone compared putting a cheap body kit on a Ducati to giving it an Earl Sheib paint job. Thats actually a pretty good analogy. From 10 foot away these fairings look great, but get closer or really pay attention, and you'll see the imperfections. But gotta keep in mind that I am willing to sacrifice these to save my stock stuff. Overall I think these fairings are a GREAT deal for $500...if your willing to work with the fit & finish a little. These are NOT factory replacements in any stretch of the imagination. But the kit came painted with everything except a tank and fit fairly well. I was completely expecting this kit to be total garbage and was prepared to send it back. I am pleasantly suprised, but it is a $500 body kit. IMHO if your looking for a cheap alternative or aren't too picky about your bikes appreance these are a great option.

Heres the bad things, although some are a little nit picking:

It sounds OK but it's got this absolute death rattle coming from the clutch area!:moon:

Lookin good Joe! For a $500 complete finished body kit I think it's awesome!

Thanks Steve! I have to go get that noise looked at. One guy said it's something wrong with the nut job on the bike. I hope thats not expensive.

Yeah they're just chinese made plastics. I found several companies selling them for anywhere from $500 to $700. I also looked at Nicecyle.com who sells their kits for $800+, but from the pics it looks exactly like the stuff I got.

thanks.. ya ive seen a couple of bikes with the china fairings and they really dont look that bad.. i mean just like anything aftermarket you will have to do a little tweeking here and there but over all for the price.. it beats buying another set of fairings for over a K ... the set you got for your bike looks good.. i wish there was a company that did the sets for track fairings.. all i have found so far is just street fairings but i think i am going to go this route with my next big purchase for my bike.. anything would look better than what my bike looks like now.. haha  for the post man
