CandleWood Suites right behind Cycle World in Athens. The General Manager is a good buddy of mine and a cool guy to work for. Someone looking for some extra easy money give him a call.

11.50/hr...Friday 3-11pm, then stay at the hotel over night, be on call...Saturday 3-11pm, then stay at the hotel on call...Sunday 3-11pm and then they are off all week. So they really only work 3 shifts, on call for 2 and get paid 40 hours.

40 hours in a weekend allows for lots of riding durring the week when everyone else is off the roads in their cube farms. Not a bad gig at all.

Man if I was single I'd hop on this in a min. I could work 4 10hr days at the hospital and do this on the weekends. Any perks like free room service/meals?

I go to UGA so that will leave no time really. Be banking and wouldn't able to spend the money though.

There is no room service...lol It is an extended stay hotel so the rooms all have kitchens w/ fridge stove microwave etc. Plus you I believe you will get super cheap rooms at any IHG hotel. Hell, if it were'nt the beginning of riding season I would prob pick it up..lol

Seems sweet, what do you do when your on call? and is any previous experience needed?

No experience needed. I believe "on call" is for when you are spending the night. Which would be to help any guest's if they need anything.

I gave him a call around 230 and left a message, this would be great for me besides the drive. But since you live on sight the 85 mile drive twice a week wouldnt be bad. This would work great since im in college now. Thanks for the post, these really help.

LOL I talked to him once, he seems like a busy guy. Hopefully one of us will get the job or at least the interview right?
