If it does not go Boom or Vroom, I have no clue. I am finally putting my Sony Surround sound together and I am about to use it for target practice, i cant figure how to set up our DVR, to the Surround sound and the WII to the TV, I removed the VCR/DVD combo and now cant figure this out,

come on over before I through this damn thing out. I have all the same wires that I had on the vcr/dvd combo going into what I think are the same places on the souround sound/dvd and dvr.

I have one TV
One DVR
and Surround Sound/DVD
Wii

I just got the tv on with the dvr. however, I cannot get the surround sound or the Wii to come on. I will keep playin with it, it just took me 4hrs to get the tv back on, so I figure around 10pm Ill get it all together lol

Back "on"? As in hooked up to the AV receiver? As far as consoles go, I usually just use a optical audio cable to the AV receiver, which is the same way my receiver hooks up to my blue ray player.

Sorry I want to help I'm just a little confused as to what the problem is.

I bought my parents a set up for Christmas. It was sort of a PITA. I know what u mean. Had to go to Best Buy and get an optical cable to get full 5.1 surround out of it. Hope u get it sorted.

The geeks shall inherit the Earth.

It is complicated. When you have a lot of different components and digital sound, there are a lot of menus to sort through. Lots of different cable types too.

Easy when you get a high end receiver. Wire everything to the receiver with hdmi then one hdmi out to the tv. Done
