I have a contour GPS HD camera at the shop to demo. So far the camera is easy to use, easy to pull video from, lots of adjustments you can make, easy to mount, and I am pretty happy with it out of the box. The 2GB storage card is enough to get you started but for a decent trip you will find a 32GB would be nice to have. I will get some sample footage to post up in the next day or so.

The Bluetooth viewfinder to the phone is sweet too. Laser guided alignment works great. All the mounts seem solid. At first I was wondering how you can mount it sideways or upside down but noticed the rotating lens resolves all the issues with it and gets video from 3 / 4 positions possible.

The GPS mapping is really cool. I had it set to 1 time per second on the short ride home and will change it to twice per second in the morning. It tracked my location, mapped it, and showed speed and altitude as promised.

I will find somewhere to mount it on the R1 tomorrow for this sundays trip to the hills.

The battery seems to be a standard LiIon and battery life is averaged at 2 hours.
Average Record Time
HD » 30min/GB
SD » 60min/GB

I might pick up another micro SD to take with and battery. There is no way to charge the device on the bike at the moment.

Forgot to mention the downloadable software is EASY to use. Plug and Play.

I saw yours and another customer has a mirror mount unit. I dont run a GPS, the camera has built in GPS tracking on it.
