I had been having some problems with a couple computers lately. Decided to just buy a brand new one. I'm happy with it so far. I've been wanting to get on a new 64 bit OS and enjoy the newer technology. Just hadn't bit the bullet until now. I love it. Now if I can just get all the damn pics and stuff off the other 2 computers I am having problems with, all will be well. It has a 1TB hard drive. Don't think I can use that up anytime soon!

Here's the specs.....

Ewww AMD, lol.

Overall good specs though. Only question is, what video card is in it?

ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated. I'm not really into gaming or video editing etc, so it should be fine for my purposes. Not a fan of AMD?

AMD dropped the ball once processors went multicore. They consistently handed Intel's ass to them on a silver platter back when the P4 processors were popular though.

I'm not a fan of ATI either, but thats mostly because of the fact that ATI never did well with opengl. It's more nit-picking than anything else, because otherwise they're great video cards.

Yeah, it seems to be pretty nice to me. It definitely isn't the top of the line stuff that just came out, but the other computers I have are from 2004 and earlier. I didn't want to spend a ton of $$. Didn't look at anything over $500. I'm happy with it. Hopefully it will last me at least 5 years.

All I really do is check e-mail, pay bills, surf the net and browse forums. For those simple tasks, I don't think I will ever be disappointed. I definitely didn't get the latest humdinger of a machine, but it is much better than the old HP and Dell I have.
