Somebody stole my bar end. Just unscrewed it and walked off. I mean, who steals a bar-end? Honestly. Luckily I had to stop by SPSU and drove by MarMo. They hooked me up with a new one on the low. Moral of the story, dont get your bar ends stolen.

I have one better.....
Unfortunately I have to park my bike on a section of soft ground where I live. So to keep the kick stand from sinking into the ground during heavy rains I have a brightly colored thick piece of plastic up under the foot of the stand.... walked outside one morning someone had done lifted up the bike and stole the piece of plastic... wtf...

These stories are absolutely hilarious. WTF does someone do with ONE bar-end? Why not steal both? And I guess some people just love shiny things, they couldn't help themselves

How do you know the bar end just didn't fall off?
I've got one right now on my strom that keeps working its self out. It uses the rubber grommet inside the bar and for some reason just keeps coming loose.

+1 to it falling off. I had two fall off until I realized that the weights inside the bars had stripped threads. Wonder if there are any cars with busted windshields because of this?

Yup, I came in from one session at Tally with a bar end missing.
Oops.

I honestly dont think it fell off. I rode last week and came home and it was there. Went to get on yesterday and it was missing. I call shenanigans. The dude at MarMo also said they work themselves off, but not in this case I dont think. I usually have half of my pinky resting on it when I get to speed, so I would have noticed if it fell off. Oh well. MarMo FTW.

Exact same thing happened to me at Tally last year too. I keep a closer eye on them now to make sure they're tight.
