I bet its still black when you are scraping if off your undertail, exhaust, body, and everything else rubber sticks to.

Regular tires are black and make white smoke so it probably wasn't that hard to make. But I'm sure the tires are absolute shit if used for anything except burnouts

A quick little coat of WD-40 or any type of oil usually works pretty well (except for the exhaust I guess). Or a gratuitous amount of painters tape. :D

Would be cooler if they were still a colored tire. I wanted red ones for my sumo, but they stopped making them in 06 or something

I can see where someone doing a stunting show would use this to punch up the visual. Unfortunately, I see too much calamari written on these.

I saw these on cars at Drift Atlanta around 2004. Guess someone decided to give them a shot on bikes since they didn't seem to catch on with cars.

Must have been. It was red smoke. Was kind of cool going through 10a-10b. I wouldn't put them on a bike though. They probably handle like shiz!

I think "Hey, look at me!" sells better with bikes than cars. Helmet mohawks for example.

I dont disagree with you at all but with the drifters you would think it would have been seen a lot with the cars also.

I think that crowd may still prefer perfomance over gimmick (maybe). I think soon that Hooter's bike nights are going to start looking like gay pride air shows.
