Wow. HUA disease. He didn't just miss seeing the bikes, he ran into the car in front of them. Sorrow all around. No sign of impairment, just big big screwup.

Sad. You know people tell me all the time I'm crazy for riding because they often think about the idiots weaving in and out of traffic but the real threat is drivers simply not paying attention.

everyone is always on cellphones...thats a big part of the problem

I was riding home yesterday... in the rain and thought that to myself too. Its sad because I would be riding behind someone or along side and I notice they are driving too slow for the lane, or fading over to the side and I ride pass and bet they are on a cell and sure nuff they are.

If had someone pull of in front of me the other day at a distance close enough that I hit the brakes kinda hard. I then proceeded to use my horn and also tell him he was #1 with me.
