I'm trying to buy my wife an Aerostich Roadcrafter suit and based on her measurements they sent us a 38 long for the first try. It didn't work at all and they now want her to try a 40 Regular, but they don't have one made and it will be 2 weeks+ before they do, so there's no chance at all we would get the final suit by Oct. 6th for a trip we have planned. She has good gear now, (Joe Rocket leather jacket and Dainese Textile Pants) but we both know it won't be warm enough for winter riding and it will probably be lower 40s in the morning during our trip in a few weeks in NC. so I was hoping to get her a roadcrafter and she would ride a lot more.
I have a 42 Regular and we sent Aerostich photos of her wearing it (along with the photos of her wearing the 38 long they sent), but they are suggesting that we really need to try the 40 regular and then have the real suit altered relative to the fit we get in the 40 regular.
Does anyone within 75-100 miles of Atlanta area have a 40 regular Aerostich roadcrafter that they would mind us coming and trying on, making a phone call in it etc.?
I know it's a weird request, but it would help us out and won't require anything on your part other than a few minutes of time.
