I have tried to put it on my profile but I cant figure it out...I copied what I thought was the userid and it didnt work :(

if you click on one of your picture in fb the url contains your id #

in this link http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=31065227&id=1318740625, the 1318740625 is my user id.

you made me curious so i entered this into the fb id in my profile set up just to see what would happen...nothing did

I just use the signature area for it. It works fine.

works fine, but you need to link that to a single work like chris. type in facebook, highlight it and use the insert link button to put the link it.
