If it weren't for Julio, the falcons O wouldn't have 1/2 as many points as they have gotten thus far. The D has personnel, just bad coaching, and pisspoor performance from the secondary and Dunce Robinson.. He got burned so many times Sunday night its a wonder his pants aren't on fire..

At last someone agrees to what ive been telling pigeon fans...you lost your playoff game, your defense got exploited (secondary to be exact), you go into a draft KNOWING what happened to you in the playoffs and what you need...you trade the house away for one OFFENSIVE player that you dont EVEN USE.....how smart is that...they deserve to have a shitty year....

why? the number 1 DB for each team is surely not covering him. how many td's does he have? and now he is out on IR after 6 games with a torn vagina.

Packers looked really damn good after the first two Falcons' drives. I was so happy until we got our dicks smashed. That game demonstrated how resilient the Packers are and keep plugging away. I'm just now getting over how pathetic the rest of the game was for the Falcons.

Oh please... Name any other rookie reciever with even HALF his yards thrugh 5 games... Ofcourse he isn't getting the top DB's on him yet.. He's opposite Roddy White! Now if Matty R could get a little more air under the ball, he'd already be in contention for rookie of the year.

And IR is a little of a stretch for a pulled hammy... Maybe on the plains you get put out for the season with a bruise, but JJ is listed as questionable for this Sunday's game.

You really want the falcons to improve, stop WASTING money on showboats like Dontae and Deangelo, get a defensive coach who understands pass defense and doesn't look like a 70's porn actor, and stop investing tons of money in injury prone veterans.

First two drives i was worried....2 min left n 2nd qtr, i knew it was about to be playoffs pt 2...just too many weapons for an athletic, pinpoint accurate, fast ball qb....its like practice for him...

Yeah, I know. I did think a few times that Cris Collinsworth was going to go down on the field and give mouth hugs to Aaron Rodgers. Ugh he just wouldn't stop gushing over him like a little girl with a crush. I was hoping Al Michaels would slap him for me.

Naw, not even contention, hes not there yet. It all starts in the draft room, just cause hes the best player and you want him doesnt mean you need him. Yall needed a WHOLE new facelift of the defense. Secondary minus grimes (but hes wishy washy) are terrible....I wohld hate to see what cam is goin to do this week, let alone drew brees. Ryan was hyped up, roddy is inconsistant (and they continue to throw to him), yall run turner at most 10 times a game....falcon fans are facing reality now...

If you ask me we've had a little too much reality the last few seasons. There's some exceptional plays, but for the most part it's lack-luster. We have great potential on offense, especially with our RB's. I hope they turn it around...for my sake. :D

I don't necessarily disagree, but you can't draft an entire secondary. Julio was a much needed deep threat with great hands. And the falcons have (badly) attempted to address their defensive woes over the last couple of years... And roddy is getting older (and is still on the inconsistent side).. Julio is a long term pick with a tremendous upside... Look at Calvin Johnson from a few years ago.. at the time he was picked, the Lions were the suck... now he is easily one of the top 3 recievers in the league thus far.. it just takes a few years to get the pieces together.. My problem with the Falcons is that the Defense has been a "work in progress" since I moved here in 1998..

GB is good, but I wouldn't crown them just yet. Right now they are a fantastic passing offense with a minimal running game and suspect defense. The pats and colts have won a lot of games that way, but neither has won a superbowl since the 2006 season.

Calvin >>>>> julio by a landslide.....

Calvin went 0-16 and still made an impact on that offense hence offensive rookie of the year....julio has a better rookie team than calvin and wont have half the success calvin did his rookie year....
