Each year we have one or more celebrity off-road racers at the Family Fun Ride. They sign autographs and bench race with anyone who cares to stop and talk.
Also the Champion Racer will lead our Ride of Champions. The top five Champion Fund Raisers at the Family Fun Ride will be invited to ride a lap of the trails with the Champion Racer.
This year we are pleased to announce that our guest will be Two Time ISDE Gold Medalist, Three Time National Enduro Champion, Russell Bobbitt.
The last time Russell led the Ride of Champions, the riders came back with some tall tales of Russell putting on a demonstration of trials skills by making his enduro bike jump up on and ride along a log, turning and pirouetting all sorts of ways. It was one of those "I don't believe what I just saw" moments. If you would like to go on a trail ride with Russell, get busy collecting some green for the Dream House. You also might go home with the grand prize.
