Now if Verizon would ever release the next batch of Android phones. Bastards. Was supposed to happen at CTIA this week. So much for that.

The app is already out on the Tmobile platform (just pulled it up). This should be interesting

I saw it but the restaurants are very, very limited.....I have it on there just hoping that the updates will come quickly!!
looks like a nice app, but, for now, my only choices on it are Outback. Im sure more will be added, since its such a new app.

What? That the Android died and the iPhone version was a little slower? Big deal...
Eh, I could see this for maybe ordering To-Go from places like Applebees and such so it'd be ready when you get there and you would have the full menu at your fingertips rather than having to remember what they sell so you can make you order, but eh, nothing spectacular....

And nothing you can't do through a web browser...

Not really true. The thing they have that's new, really, is the integration with the restaurant POS system. Very few restaurants other than the pizza places currently have on line ordering. Outback does in most locations but Applebees, Fridays, RTuesday and the like mostly don't. If you travel by yourself, which I do a lot, this could be a pretty cool tool. I very frequently leave wherever I'm working, go back to the hotel and park in the hotel room to do just what this thing does - find a nearby restaurant, place an order to pick up and then go back out and get it. All have menus on line but most don't have on line ordering. I hate sitting by myself in a half lit restaurant to eat dinner on the road. I'd rather sit in my hotel room and read or watch tv while I eat than sit and look around a restaurant at strangers eating.
But, yeah, they have to get all the places that do take out food on board with the live order entry. And the ability to go ahead and pay is convenient also.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I'll have to look into it more.
