As in my profile, I have a 2008 Suzuki GSX650F. I would like to know how I can make my turn signals light up like running lights and still be functional as a turn signal. I am looking for more ways to be visible at night as well and I think this would be a good start and would also look good.
Any ideas would be great. Thank you kindly in advance.

John

You need a dual filament bulb. That way one filament is the running light, and one is the turn signal. You'll need an appropriate receptacle as well.

Those of us who call ourselves professionals call that a "socket". It may be difficult to install a dual filament socket in an existing signal housing.

there is a gadget that will burn them 100% of the time and then switch them on and off to blink. I know a few peeps that have them and it makes a difference. I'll try to look at the name on the other forum later and post back but someone here should know the name too.

Yeah yeah, I know. I meant to come back and edit that post. I was at work, and had to either post it quickly or delete it, cuz I had to walk away from the computer. I had intended to post links with appropriate products, but ran out of time.

I looked at their site but they don't have for my bike. I appreciate the info though :)

You would have to swap your stock signals for these. It's a universal type of flushmount light.
You might have been looking at the integrated tailights

Not sure if this will work for ya but...Here is the bulb http://www.customled.com/products/dual_filament_bayonet_bulbs/dual_filament_bayonet_bulbs.htm and the link on the page has the socket

Wire them hot through the normally closed side of a 5 pin relay, then wire the turn signal flasher lead to the positive of the coil.

They will stay on until you hit the turn switch and then they will flash. Cheap and easy with no changing of the socket.

Dude you could have so much lighting you look like Hartfield Intl Airport, that aint gonna make you any safer. Do yourself a favor and practice defensive riding and keeping your wits about you.

You can swap the socket out for a dual filiment. I integrated tail lights on a RF900 using this method
